We are on week two of distance learning. All of us at WES want to thank you for your gratitude and patience during this time.  You can start to drop off and pick up new packets beginning Monday, April 27th at the WES cafeteria from 9am to 1pm. And again on Wednesday April 29th from 9am to 1pm.  At this time you can also pick up a Chromebook if you need one. Distance learning is new for all of us and we want to hear from you about how it is going.  We posted a survey on the front page of our website at  Please take the time to fill out the survey so we can continue to make improvements.  We will also have a paper copy available during meal pick up times.  During this time we will continue to provide multiple meals to all children under the age of 18.  I hope you have a great rest of your evening and enjoy the weekend with your families.

As many of you now know our Governor has asked California schools to remain closed.  In the absence of other directives, Trinity County administrators hope to be able to reassess continued school closures by May 4th.  Although our campuses are closed, classes remain open.  Our teachers have prepared another 2 weeks of learning materials to be ready for pick-up at the WES cafeteria on Monday April 13th from 9am to 1pm.  Please remind your students to check their school email for updates from their teachers.  Families can find their students' teacher email information on our website.  In the next several days you will receive updates regarding teacher office hours as well as teacher lessons.  We thank you for your efforts to stay safe by staying home. Take care and enjoy your spring break with your families.
