The majority of teachers in grades 5th- 12th utilize Google Classroom.
Other teachers may blend models that involve physical, and hands-on resources, to augment Google Classroom.
Some teachers, especially for our youngest students, may have created paper assignments that parents have picked from their school.
Students who need a Chromebook can check one out beginning April 13th at the WES cafeteria from 9am to 1pm.
Students that need internet access please notify your homeroom teacher. Teacher emails can be found on the website under “staff directory”.
Teachers will now have virtual office hours to be available to answer student/parent questions during this time. Each teacher will have a different format from phone calls, emails, or another virtual format such as google hangout, google classroom, or zoom. Teachers will email students to explain how they can be reached and/or how they can schedule time during virtual office hours. Please have your student check their school email and/or google classroom often.
Remember this is new to all of us. Be patient with your students and your teachers. We will get through this together. If you have questions or concerns contact your teacher early and share your struggles. We hope that we are supporting and engaging your student(s) during this time in order for you to stay home and stay safe.
